About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Collaborative Outreach Officer to support the delivery of targeted outreach activities across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. Working as part of a wider university partnership, you will play a key role in designing and delivering initiatives aimed at widening participation in higher education and supporting learners from underrepresented backgrounds. This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote work and on-site delivery across schools, colleges, and community venues.

About you

The ideal candidate will have clear, persuasive verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences (e.g., partners, communities, funders). The individual will be skilled in establishing trust and rapport with stakeholders and be diplomatic and empathetic, especially in community engagement.
 
We are seeking someone who works well across teams and departments and can facilitate cooperation among partners with different goals
