About the role

Join us in enhancing the experience of our Black Students. Be part of a team executing and overseeing a diverse array of projects, initiatives, events, and administrative tasks aligned with the University's strategic goals. You will monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of activities related to our Black students' experience, ensuring the high quality of the program. You'll actively incorporate feedback mechanisms and undertake benchmarking to drive continuous improvement.

Additionally, you'll provide professional, evidence-based, and data-led advice and guidance to Schools and the Students’ Union, contributing to the ongoing improvement of the Black Student Experience at the university.  Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our students. 

About you

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, bringing expertise, passion and lived experience to address the challenges facing the UK Higher Education sector, particularly regarding educational inequalities. If you have a relevant qualification or significant work experience in a similar environment, along with a solid understanding of the sector's dynamics, we want to hear from you.

As part of our team, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues, leveraging your experience of working effectively in a team environment. Experience in coordinating, supporting, and delivering events or projects is essential, as you'll be involved in various initiatives aimed at enhancing our students' experience. Additionally, you'll need to navigate and comply with complex regulations and procedures, such as data protection and immigration regulations, while handling intricate queries with ease.
