About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Student Conduct and Complaints Coordinator to support the effective operation of the University's student conduct and complaints procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to contribute to an important area of the student experience, ensuring that cases are managed efficiently, fairly and in accordance with University regulations and sector requirements. The role involves coordinating casework, supporting formal panels and appeals, managing enquiries from students and staff, and maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout various procedures. The post holder will also contribute to the continual review of these processes, and assist in developing guidance for staff and students in the area.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual with excellent administrative and organisational skills. You will have experience of managing competing priorities, handling sensitive and confidential information and providing high-quality support within a busy professional environment.

You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, academic staff and professional services colleagues. An ability to exercise sound judgement, review information critically and communicate procedural information clearly is essential. You will be confident drafting and reviewing formal letters for sending to students or customers, colleagues and external partners.

Experience of working within higher education, or other regulatory or governance environments would be advantageous.

Additional information

Informal enquires are welcome and should be made to Ethan Lang [email protected]

As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to professional development, this role will also be considered on a seconded basis for existing staff members. Please ensure this is discussed with your line manager prior to applying. More information regarding secondments can be found here
