About the role

We are seeking Programme Curriculum and Assessment Administrators to join the professional services team at the University of Leicester. In this varied role, you will provide high-quality administrative support and an excellent student-facing service to undergraduate and postgraduate taught students, working across the full student lifecycle. You will take responsibility for key programme administration activities, including assessment processes, timetabling, and monitoring student progression and engagement, while ensuring compliance with University regulations and deadlines.

You will also play an important role in programme quality assurance, supporting curriculum planning, annual monitoring and review processes, and the preparation of data and reports to inform decision-making. The role involves liaising with academic and professional services colleagues, supporting committees and exam boards, maintaining accurate student records, and contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and processes in a collaborative, agile working environment.

About you

You will be educated to A level standard or equivalent, or have significant relevant experience, with strong organisational and administrative skills and a proven ability to manage complex information and systems. You will bring excellent IT skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to interpret regulations and provide clear guidance. Experience of working independently, using initiative to resolve issues, and handling confidential information with professionalism is essential.

You will be an effective communicator with a strong customer service focus, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and confidently engage with students and stakeholders. You will be adaptable and proactive, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, with a positive approach to continuous improvement and an interest in working within a higher education environment.
