About the role

We are looking for a Senior Administrator to join Student Support Services on a maternity cover basis.

The role will provide essential administrative and operational support across key service areas, helping to maintain business continuity during a period of reduced staffing capacity.

You will support the day to day coordination of core Student Support Services processes, including DSA invoicing, purchase orders, room and appointment administration, shared inbox support and wider business support activity. You will also assist with safeguarding-adjacent administrative processes, ensuring information is managed appropriately and actions are progressed in a timely way.

The role will require you to plan and organise your own workload, respond to competing priorities and work closely with colleagues across the service to ensure student-facing activity continues to run effectively. You will also support process improvement, record keeping and operational resilience during the maternity cover period.

About you

You will have evident experience of working to deadlines and managing service environments, with experience in supporting service delivery. You will be highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting demands. You will have strong IT skills with the ability to interpret management information data.

You will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, taking pride in providing a service that exceeds expectations. In addition, you'll be at ease working both in a team and independently, having a commitment to providing quality service and continuous improvement.
