The University of Leicester is seeking to appoint co-opted members to join its Audit and Assurance Committee.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the governance and assurance of a leading UK university, supporting robust oversight, transparency and accountability at a critical time for the higher education sector.
The Audit and Assurance Committee plays a central role in advising Council on the effectiveness of the University’s systems of risk management, internal control, governance and assurance, including internal and external audit.

• Work alongside experienced lay and internal members of Council

Practical details
• Time commitment: Up to c. 20 hours per year
• Meetings: Typically five meetings per year
• Location: Hybrid (meetings held in Leicester with remote attendance available)
• Remuneration: Unremunerated (reasonable expenses reimbursed)
