About the role

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Recruitment Administrator to join our Unitemps team at the University of Leicester. This part time maternity cover position offers an excellent opportunity to support the temporary staff recruitment process across the University.

Working on a hybrid basis, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of recruitment activities, including processing payroll, managing new bookings and booking extensions, and ensuring legal compliance with worker agreements and right to work documentation.

You will handle a high volume of recruitment related queries and be responsible for processing starters and leavers data in line with payroll deadlines, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with university regulations. As part of a multifunctional team, you will coordinate various tasks, work to tight deadlines, and continuously seek to improve existing processes. Above all, you will provide first class customer service to both internal and external stakeholders in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Working Hours: 14 hours per week, spread across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, between 9:30 am and 3.00 pm.

About you

You should have academic or vocational qualifications to at least Level 2 (NVQ2 or equivalent) and experience in a recruitment support role or similar administration customer-focused environment. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of dealing with sensitive situations and confidential information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required. A working knowledge of HR processes or experience using complex databases such as SAP would be advantageous.

If you are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity at the University of Leicester.
