About the role

This role involves supporting academic teams with the arranging and allocation of clinical placements for students in the School Healthcare, comprising Midwifery, Nursing, Operating Department Practitioner, Diagnostic Radiotherapy, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy. You will support students with travel, accommodation and general placement queries. This is a highly complex role requiring exceptional organisation and project management skills to ensure placements are organised effectively and ensuring outstanding student satisfaction.

Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as effectively developing and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders will be key to your success. This will include liaising with NHS Trusts, other HEI placement management teams and academics and staff both internally and at other external organisations, as well as communicating with students to resolve any queries they have about placement allocation
 
Working days for this role will be Thursday and Friday.
About you

The successful candidate will be experienced at working in a complex environment, such as higher education, with knowledge of the NHS and local service organisations. Previous experience of organising healthcare placements would be beneficial. Experience of organising and manipulating significant volumes of data is essential, able to analyse data with a keen eye for detail.
