You must be a GMC registered medical practitioner holding a licence to practice and possessing MB BS or equivalent. You will have a Good Clinical Practice certificate, or the ability to obtain this. You will have experience of writing scientific papers as well as a track record of publication of high-quality journal papers. Alongside this, you should have sound knowledge of IT such as the ability to use Word, Excel and Access competently.
MRCP (UK) is not required for the role, however is desirable.
It is anticipated that the research work undertaken will contribute to an MD or PhD degree and the appointee will be required to register to undertake this.
