About the role
The positions main responsibility is to provide efficient and pro-active delivery of government and compliance in our pensions administration. You will work with multi-channel communications to and from all pension schemes’ members whilst maintain regular contact with external pension administrators, pension advisors and actuaries and relevant regulatory bodies.
 
The role requires you to assist in organising and planning University Pension Schemes’ Trustee and Governance Board Meetings and wider pension scheme communication events. Along with assisting with confidential tasks in relation to staff pension member life events, such as retirement. 
About you
You should have experience and understanding of Defined benefit and/or Defined Contribution schemes and Pension scheme regulations, ideally with knowledge of Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) or the NHSPS 
 
You will be self-motivated with the ability to work with initiative to manage your workload effectively. Combined with excellent attention to detail and strong IT skills. As you will be working with a wide range of people, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
