About the role
As our Health and Safety Business Partner, you will be supporting the senior leadership teams to assist them is discharging their Health and Safety obligations. Focusing on the delivery of value and service, you will ensure the University's Health and Safety Strategy is supported and the context of the key activities and risks within Projects and Planning. Being responsible for managing the relationships of key stakeholders you will identify, shape and manage Health and Safety delivery. 
 
The role gives you the opportunity to manage assigned Projects and Planning relationships with a focus on improving Health and Safety delivery and aligning the expectations of stakeholders and the University Health and Safety Strategy. You will be responsible for monitoring contractor performance on site and, using best practice solutions, identify any issues requiring action and ensure these are effectively completed. 
About you
You will have significant experience in working within the built environment and a track record of delivering Health and Safety change and development in management services. Being a Chartered Member of IOSH is essential and you should also hold a level 6 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
 
The successful candidate will be highly customer focused, understand the institutional goals and translating them into management system requirements. You must be a strong communicator with the ability to influence a range of stakeholders and be able to plang and prioritising work schedules for events.
