About the role
The Front of House Team Leader role will have responsibility ensuring a high level of consistent customer care.  The post holder will oversee the operations of the front of house team, this includes the supervision of three front of house assistants,  a weekend venue officer, volunteer coordinator and casual staff. Along with overseeing a number of staff the role has responsibility for building operations and health and safety.

Attenborough Arts Centre is a socially and civically-engaged public cultural venue based at the University of Leicester, producing visual arts, live performance, learning, community and research programmes. We collaborate with many local organisations to engage Leicester communities and with national partners to raise the profile of our work. We aim to be a sector leader for inclusion and a centre of excellence for disability arts.

With core funding from the University of Leicester and Arts Council England as a National Portfolio Organisation, our work has also been supported by multiple awards and grants from public funders such as Art Fund, BBC Children in Need, Leicester Shire Promotions and Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

About you
With previous team management experience within a public facing venue, you should be able to demonstrate problem solving and customer service skills. You will have a track record of meeting financial or non-financial income targets, demonstrating  strong time management skills to meet deadlines and agreed priorities with an ability to manage and prioritise own and others’ work programmes. You will be a confident communicator, with the ability to work as part of a team and cultivate effective team working.
