About the role

You will be joining a dynamic team whose role is to lead the growth and development of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) across the University.  You will provide a professional and confidential administrative service to support the delivery of EDI activities and events, whilst working with a wide range of internal and external contacts to help ensure such activities are delivered professionally and effectively.

You will be the first point of contact for the EDI Team and will be responsible for managing correspondence and providing advice to colleagues within the University.  You will be expected to use initiative to provide high quality support and service, in a professional and approachable manner.

About you

You will have an understanding and working knowledge of EDI practices along with experience of using a range of software packages including MS Office to collate data.

Having worked in a comparable role, you will have experience of supporting committees, minute taking,  diary management and coordinating events with colleagues and external organisations.

Due to the nature of the EDI Team’s work, the ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
