The Director of Future Students will join the Division of External Relation’s senior leadership team, reporting to the newly appointment Chief Marketing and Engagement Officer, Kerry Law. The role holder will lead and inspire a team of up to 80 individuals and will have responsibility for developing strategic national and international student recruitment plans to meet targets for student growth. The Director will be an authoritative source of advice and guidance to senior staff and major committees throughout the University on widening participation and student recruitment issues.


About you
The position therefore requires an individual with an exceptional understanding of sector-wide challenges and opportunities regarding UK and global student recruitment, and demonstrable experience of successfully meeting targets and delivering change. The ability to manage university-wide resources, and the capability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the University, will also be key. The successful candidate will have vision and focus, be decisive and resourceful, with the inspiration and tenacity to succeed. You will need drive, energy and exceptional communication and engagement skills to make a difference at this exciting time in the Division of External Relations.
