About the role
Pathways provides help and resources for students, teachers, parents and carers to find out more about higher education. The Pathways Programme is fully funded by UniConnect which is a national programme from the Office for Students that offers activities, advice and information on the benefits and realities of going to university or college.
 
UniConnect helps through local hubs across England. These give impartial advice and information to 1,613 schools and colleges, which reach over 180,000 young people and their parents.
 
The Pathways programme is part of UniConnect and responsible for managing the Leicestershire and Rutland partnership with a view to inspire young people with confidence to find a path to higher education which is right for them. Pathways comprised of University of Leicester, Loughborough University, De Montfort University, Leicester College and Loughborough College. 
About you
Are you passionate about supporting inclusion, diversity and raising aspirations? Do you want to lead a dynamic and passionate team that want to deliver impact for the young people of Leicestershire and Rutland. This fantastic role manages staff across 3 Universities and 2 Colleges, engages with local schools and colleges as well as with the LLEP and local authorities.
