About the role
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing team in the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO). 

Starting in our centenary year, you will play a transformative role by securing significant philanthropic support for strategic university priorities, and provide guidance and leadership within the Philanthropy team. You will support the development of the team’s fundraising strategy and cases for support, and will manage a portfolio of high-level current and prospective donors, soliciting gifts above £25,000, with a particular focus on those in excess of £100,000.
About you
You will have exceptional social and communication skills, and the experience to guide and motivate a team. We are looking for someone who is composed, collaborative, thrives in a fast-paced environment and shares in the team’s success. You will have excellent organisational skills and bring a solution-focused approach to challenges. You must have a strong understanding of the principles of high level philanthropy and be comfortable engaging with senior-level colleagues, alumni and donors.
