About the role

You will support the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre Cardiovascular Theme Manager and BRC CV Executive team across a full range of PA functions, providing an efficient, confidential and proactive support service to the BRC CV Manager and BRC CV Executive team. You will use your own judgement to prioritise and resolve queries, provide intelligent diary management to ensure key priorities are accounted for in both the short and long term and coordinate meetings and events across the University and the NHS Trust. 

You will assist the BRC CV Manager with BRC related projects and associated activities through monitoring and reporting on the progress of multiple studies, managing resources, liaising with colleagues in finance and cross-charging within the Unit.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with substantial experience in a similar role based in a busy office environment. Experience of finance administration and project management are essential for this role. 

The post calls for high levels of efficiency, diplomacy, coordination and accuracy, coupled with advanced competencies in planning and organising. Most importantly, you will be an excellent communicator, able to develop and maintain a network of international contacts at all levels of seniority.
