About the role
In this role, you will support and coordinate the University’s work towards achieving and progressing key equality charters and benchmarking activities, including Athena Swan, the Race Equality Charter and Stonewall Workplace Equality Index. You will collect, analyse and present equality data for key activities such as gender pay gap reporting and equality impact assessments. Working with key stakeholders to provide tailored advice, support and guidance and support departments across the University you will implement effective initiatives and activities.

About you
You will be a self-motivated, independent individual who will exercise integrity and sensitivity in the fulfilment of the role. With experience of analysing, interpreting and reporting on complex quantitative and qualitative data, you will also have experience of implementing and monitoring action or work plans that drive real change. Detailed knowledge of Athena Swan, the Race Equality Charter or similar equality charters is key, alongside other relevant work experience. 

Though not essential, you may have experience of working within the Higher Education sector, as well as developing and delivering training, briefings and seminars to a wide variety of audiences. You will have pro-active and flexible approach, using these skills to influence and negotiate as required.
