The post is funded by the George Davies Philanthropic Donation and is based in the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at Glenfield Hospital. The donation is funding a rich variety of academic vascular projects, including investigating the cause and prevention of limb loss, delays within the vascular care pathways, management of patients with chronic limb threatening ischaemia (CLTI), variance in amputation rates across the UK, reducing sedentary behaviour to improve walking distance in patients with IC, and assessing the vascular knowledge of public, medical students and primary care professionals.
You will contribute to the success of the on-going academic projects and participate in all aspects of research activity supporting both the LIMb and CHABLIS studies to ensure the timely delivery. You will also have the opportunity to assist in data analysis, drafting manuscripts and disseminating the results from elements of these projects as well as your own.
