About the role
This is an exciting multi-disciplinary project on the verification of trustworthy autonomous systems. The project is carried out in a world-class consortium comprising leading researchers from Leicester, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield and York, involving 17 senior researchers and 9 research associates.

More information about the project and the team on the project website: https://verifiability.org .

The research will focus on model-based testing of cyber-physical systems. A foundational aspect of the project is to build techniques that can take requirements from various domains (including higher-level ethical and legal policies, safety, and security) and provide and translate testing and verification evidence across various levels of abstraction (including physical design, sub-symbolic- and symbolic AI).

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a world-leading group of scientists in testing and verification at Leicester, with ample opportunity for interaction and networking within the Verifiability Node and the Trustworthy Autonomous Systems Hub (www.tas.ac.uk).
About you
With a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, you will have an affinity with software testing, validation or verification. You will enjoy work with and coordinating a research team, using your excellent communication and organisational skills to ensure the project progresses effectively.
