About the role
We are looking for a Research Associate to join us in the School of Business. You will work on the ESRC Impact Accelerator Account funded Strategic Partnership between the University of Leicester and Mattioli Woods PLC, which is led by Professor Daniel Ladley. 

This partnership includes two research projects on which you will work. The first involves macroeconomic and demographic analysis to understand drivers of growth. As part of this project you will survey literature and carry out statistical analysis of data. The second project involves using experimental economic methods to understand risk preferences. On this project you will help to design and then conduct the experiments on groups of participants. In both cases you will work as part of the project team to writing-up research findings for dissemination and contribute to published work, ensuring it is completed to the highest standard.
About you
With a PhD level (or equivalent) in Economics or Finance or significant relevant experience including relevant qualifications. You will have experience in standard techniques of statistical analysis and experimental methods.
 
We are looking for a self-starter with a passion for research, with good analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, who is able to work comfortably both in a team and independently.
