About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to work for the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Research Design Service East Midlands to help to develop effective communications, plan well-attended and interesting events, and monitor service performance and client satisfaction. We are looking for an experienced Communications Officer to strengthen our team and tell the story of our work with a compelling, positive and authentic voice. We want our stories to resonate as part of the wider national RDS and be a well-regarded voice within the health and social care research national communities. 

About you

We are looking for a dynamic communications professional with a background in digital communications and a evidence of proven collaborative working. The successful candidate will drive the development of new communications plans and create engaging content for RDS East Midlands across a variety of digital platforms.

This role requires an extremely organised person, who is enthusiastic, versatile and proactive in their approach to work, with a high degree of attention to detail and a proven ability to meet tight deadlines. They will be skilled in drafting, editing and proof-reading reports and supporting tables, graphs and illustrations.
