About the role

In this role you will provide a seamless administrative service for the Clinical Tuberculosis (TB) research studies undertaken at the Respiratory BRC, Glenfield Hospital. 

The main part of the role will be planning testing appointments and research visits, contacting patients participating in the study to arrange and confirm appointments, rescheduling appointments and ensuring notes and paperwork are available.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have working knowledge of the relevant IT systems, processes and procedures relevant to healthcare services and an awareness of the research governance and ethics relating to research studies. You will be confident working both independently and as part of a large team. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role and proficiency in one or more languages spoken by people from the Indian subcontinent would be beneficial.
