About the role
In this role you will provide efficient and accurate administrative support to various administrative functions across the Department including assisting with starters and leavers processes, staff recruitment activities, travel arrangements and general enquiries.
You will also be responsible for receiving and responding to queries from staff and visitors, efficiently handling and resolving any problems. With your proactive approach to work you will manage your own time on a day to day basis while having a flexible attitude to adapt to changing priorities.
About you

We are looking for someone who has experience in a broadly related administrative role with strong organisational skills. You must be a proficient user of the full range of Microsoft Office suite software, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and Access, and use of the internet. An IT qualification such as ECDL and experience in a higher education environment would be beneficial but are not essential. 

You will be able to work with minimal supervision, prioritising your own workload to deal with urgent tasks, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
