About the role

Leicester Medical School is seeking an efficient and highly organised PA to join its Professional Services team at a time when the School is experiencing an exciting period of growth in student numbers and embeds an innovative new curriculum.

As PA to the Head of School, the post-holder will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day activities of the Head of School, whilst providing some support for the Deputy Head of School and Head of Operations. The role will also involve servicing a number of key committees and meetings that take place within the School and coordinating the School’s compliance with a number of University administrative processes. The School offers a friendly and supportive environment, a busy and varied workload and the opportunity to support its contribution to the local Medical workforce.
About you

With work experience in a relevant role, you will understand the importance of managing personal and confidential data. We are looking for someone who has advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

You will also have the ability to prioritise and deal with high volumes of work without supervision, with a demonstrable ability to use initiative and judgement to resolve many problems independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, in order to build relationships and work effectively with a broad range of senior internal and external stakeholders.
