About the role
This role gives you the opportunity to manage the University's Regulations, policies and procedures for academic appeals, academic and non-academic misconduct, complaints and the team of professional Services staff responsible for this area of activity. You will also manage the University's relationship with the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education (OIA).
About you
Being educated to degree level you will have gained significant experience of managing systems, regulations and procedures, in a Higher Education environment. Experience of managing complaints or academic appeals is essential as you will be managing student academic and non-academic misconduct cases. 
 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital as you need to communicate complex information to a range of audiences. You will have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all areas of work and to handle a range of situations with sensitivity whilst remaining calm and professional.
