You will be a midwife registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and hold a degree in Midwifery at 2:1 or above. You will have experience of successful undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, together with evidence of excellent student outcomes, leadership in learning and teaching, and a sustained commitment to developing your practice. You will hold Fellowship of the HEA or an equivalent accredited teaching qualification, or be committed to gaining an accredited qualification within an agreed timescale. A relevant Master’s degree or PhD, completed continuing professional development and experience of using research or professional skills to enhance the curriculum would be advantageous.
You will be an effective and inclusive communicator who can work independently and collaboratively, develop supportive professional relationships, and deliver teaching through a range of methods. You will bring strong organisational, presentation, coaching, mentoring and pastoral skills, alongside a commitment to high-quality service and equitable outcomes for students.
