About the role

As NCOP Project Manager, you'll provide operational management for the delivery of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) in Leicester, this is a role where you will have to support the partnership that comprises of: University of Leicester, University of De Montford and the University of Loughborough as well as Leicester College. You will ensure the delivery of high impact activity that meets the needs of specific target groups and contributes towards the consortium’s objectives and commitments in relation to Widening Participation and collaborative outreach.

NCOP team focus on delivering outreach activity, engaging with our local community and providing targeted support to those underrepresented in Higher Education, fulfilling our Operational Plan commitments.

 

 

About you

We're looking for a Project Manager with knowledge and understanding of Widening Participation in Higher Education, including relevant policy. You'll need to be adept at:

          Leading and managing a team

          Leading operational activities in student recruitment, schools engagement or widening participation within an education environment

          Working with young people and vulnerable adults and knowledge of the associated safeguarding issues

          Managing the delivery of multiple projects and activities to target and budget

          Managing a large stakeholder group within the partnership

          Effectively managing detailed analysis and making recommendations on high impact activity

          Manage the implementation of the programme
