You will bring significant experience in accounting, supported by a relevant professional qualification such as ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA or CIMA, or a PhD in a related discipline. You will have a strong track record of delivering excellent teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students, with experience in curriculum design and the use of innovative, research-informed teaching practices that enhance student outcomes. You will demonstrate commitment to pedagogic development, alongside experience of engaging in academic quality processes, external assessment and collaboration with educational or industry partners.
You will be an effective academic leader, with the ability to motivate and develop colleagues and students while contributing to a collaborative academic environment. Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to teach across a range of accounting subjects using diverse delivery methods. A recognised teaching qualification such as Senior Fellowship of the HEA, or a willingness to achieve this, is expected, alongside evidence of ongoing professional and scholarly development.
