We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our Student Support Services team at the University of Leicester. This role focuses on supporting students who have been affected by unacceptable behaviours such as bullying, harassment, sexual violence, and domestic abuse. You will play a crucial role in raising awareness, providing training, and managing cases to ensure that risk and needs for the student are managed appropriately.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing case work and case managing for students who require support, assessing and managing risk linked to each case, providing expert advice and guidance, and ensuring timely and appropriate actions are taken. You will also be involved in delivering training sessions and awareness programmes aimed at preventing unacceptable behaviours, supporting the university's commitment to a safe and inclusive environment. Additionally, you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including the Student Union, police, and specialist support services, to ensure a holistic approach to student welfare.
