About the role

The Student Fees and Income Management team is responsible for the timely collection of student tuition and accommodation fees, as well as departmental income. Our team is comprised of friendly and approachable people of various levels and experiences, all of whom deliver a high level of customer service to ensure that both students and staff have a positive experience.

This an exciting opportunity for an ambitious person who can add real value to this highly successful team.

It will be your responsibility to assist in identifying areas for finance policy, systems and process improvement, with a primary focus on our revenue and student facing processes and systems, and support with the development and implementation of improvement.

You will also assist in ensuring that our revenue and student facing processes and systems is financially compliant and adhering to policy and financial regulations and identifying any potential areas of concern with solutions.

About you

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who uses their own initiative to help identify improvement, has an innovative and creative approach to problem solving and the ability to take a solution-focused approach to contribute towards the development and continuous improvement within the team. 

Experience of a finance software package, with knowledge of sales and debt collection systems and knowledge and understanding of the processes, procedures and controls relevant to an income billing and collecting system.

You will utilise excellent communicative skills and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail as you will be interacting with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders over a wide range of tasks.
