About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Fellow in Politics & International Relations to join our growing School of History, Politics and International Relations to start from 1st September 2026.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching in International Politics and International Relations, contributing to both undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching, values an inclusive learning environment, and enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues.

About you

You will hold a PhD in International Relations, Politics, or a related field, with research expertise in International Politics and experience teaching in UK higher education (or equivalent). You will have a strong publication record appropriate to career stage and committed to inclusive, high-quality teaching.

You will be an effective communicator, confident in using IT for teaching, experienced in student supervision and mentoring, and actively engaged in professional development.

We hope you will contribute positively to academic administration and the wider work of the School
