About the role

Are you passionate about supporting students and promoting higher education on a global scale?

We are looking for a proactive and organised Global Recruitment Support Officer to join our dynamic Future Students Office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting student recruitment activity across the UK, North America and emerging international markets.

Working as part of a collaborative Global Recruitment Team, you will help deliver recruitment plans, support engagement activities, and contribute to achieving ambitious student recruitment targets.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will:

  • Support recruitment activities across UK International and North American markets
  • Engage with prospective students, parents, agents and partners, providing guidance on applications and student experience
  • Deliver presentations, attend events and represent the University at exhibitions and outreach activities
  • Help organise and deliver recruitment events, open days and campus visits
  • Act as a key point of contact for enquiries, ensuring a high-quality customer experience
  • Contribute to marketing activity and support digital engagement, including social media and campaigns
  • Support global recruitment colleagues and help develop new opportunities for international growth

This is a highly collaborative role requiring close working across internal teams and with external stakeholders, alongside opportunities for travel within the UK.

About you

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence delivering presentations and engaging diverse audiences
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and events
  • High levels of digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Customer-focused approach, with the ability to respond effectively to enquiries
  • Teamworking and collaboration, working across departments and with external partners
  • Flexibility and initiative, including willingness to travel and support events outside normal hours
  • Cultural awareness, with an interest in international students and global recruitment
