About the role
In this role you will provide leadership for the School’s campus based undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will lead the operational delivery of these programmes, overseeing and supporting the work of individual programme leads in order to provide a world class student experience. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching you will play an important role in enhancing our campus based teaching provision.
 
The role of Director of Taught Programmes is for three years in the first instance, renewable for future terms. This role is offered in conjunction with a permanent post of associate professor in any of the fields represented within the School of Business.

About you
You will have the ability to shape the strategic direction of campus based programme delivery, leading the planning activity over many years. We are looking for individuals who have the motivation to ensure our students receive the very best experience possible.
 
This role is offered on either the teaching focused or the teaching and research career path depending on the skills and experience of the appointed candidate. For the Teaching and Research Career Path you will be able to evidence world leading research in your area, as well as the ability to network and collaborate at an international level. You will lead on grant capture, engagement in international networks and enhancing impact activity. For the Teaching Focused Career Path you will engage with scholarship or pedagogical research to underpin innovation in teaching and to enhance the student experience.
