About the role

We are looking for an experienced facilities manager to join our Estates and Campus Services department. Reporting to the Head of Campus Facilities, you will be responsible for the  efficient and effective day to day delivery of a range of university wide Facilities Management operations including gardens, sports grounds and external areas, and any associated FM provided services for the academic and residential estate. This will include ensuring that all aspects of operational activities are coordinated to provide safe, quality, customer focused services across the Estate and throughout the University, positively impacting on the customer experience. You will also ensure that all service delivery is compliant with legislation, local authority regulations and service level agreements.

About you

With previous experience of a similar role in a relevant establishment, you should be confident defining, agreeing and monitoring standards or facilities service delivery and be able to develop positive and effective links between service providers and key stakeholders. You should have a strong awareness of finance and customer service, with previous experience in managing budgets, projects, teams and service delivery.
