About the role
In this role you will work on a Leverhulme funded project that will creatively explore, geovisualise and map how Leicester is experienced. You will take a leading role in experimental research design, interviewing participants, collecting, collating, analyzing and visualising data in line with reaching the research goals of the project. You will also present research findings at conferences and workshops and contribute to the writing up of the project for publications.
About you
With a PhD in a relevant subject, you will have experience and in-depth knowledge of GIScience or quantitative social media analysis. You will have experience of designing and conducting interviews or surveys and be able to provide evidence of quality research output.
 
We are looking for a self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills. You will be able to plan, organise and implement programmes of work under minimal supervision.
