The successful candidate will collaborate on health data science projects under the supervision of Prof. Anthony Brookes. As part of a team, you will innovate and provide software within UK and EU-wide information management systems, working within federated architectures to advance data-sharing projects that develop and implement global data standards. The primary focus will be on facilitating the use of health-related data in areas such as dementia, rare diseases, and genetics.
Your work will partly take place within the University’s Health Data Research UK (HDR-UK) facility, as a member of Prof. Brookes' research team. Additionally, you will be involved in large European consortia (e.g., EPND, AD RIDDLE, ERDERA) to support health data research and its applications.
You will liaise with various internal and external teams, coordinating project partners, facilitating the exchange of information, and monitoring group progress. You will also be responsible for developing a network of contacts, organising both local and international meetings, and contributing to project management discussions.
