You should have a technical or scientific education to ONC or NVQ3 level, along with previous laboratory experience working with bacteriophages and pathogenic bacteria. A solid background in molecular biology, genetic manipulation, and phage research is essential. Experience with genomic data and bioinformatics tools will be beneficial.
We are looking for someone with strong laboratory skills, including PCR and DNA extraction, and good IT skills for data management and analysis.
