About the role
We are looking for a Project Manager to work with the Only Good Antibodies community leadership, to deliver our MRC funded better methods project. The role will involve co-ordinating with stakeholders across biomedical research to promote best practices in antibody choice and use. We have recently shown that issues with the selectivity of antibodies likely compromises the integrity and reproducibility of biomedical research.

The project manager will lead an awareness campaign and facilitate the development of educational resources for the research community. They will work with the partner organisations, including institutional leadership, commercial companies, research funding organisations and publishers to promote awareness of the issues. They will also facilitate a Delphi study with these stakeholders to develop a consensus action plan to promote the use of the most reliable reagents. They will also co-ordinate the transfer of reagents from commercial partners for the wet lab team.

About you
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communications skills. We seek someone with experience of project management in the academic setting. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate both the ability to manage and communicate, but also a level of understanding of the underlying scientific principals involved in antibody based assays, and best practices in validation.
