You should hold a good first degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related subject, and ideally, you will have completed or be near completing a PhD in a related field. Alternatively, equivalent relevant experience in the field will be considered. You should have experience in teaching or training, with a proven track record in a Higher Education environment.

You should be able to supervise student projects and work collaboratively within a team. A commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to improving teaching practice is essential.

Experience in developing digital teaching materials, membership in professional bodies, and a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) or a willingness to obtain it, would be advantageous.
