About the role
We are seeking to strengthen our team by recruiting someone with excellent teaching potential in the field of Ancient History (Greek), with the ability to contribute teaching across our portfolio, including Classical Archaeology. Ancient History at Leicester is known for both world-leading research and innovative pedagogy, as well as for its deep-seated commitment to interdisciplinarity and diversity. 

In this role you will teach, mark and supervise on Ancient History programmes on both our campus-based and distance learning degree programmes and contribute to the administration and wider work of the School of Archaeology and Ancient History (SAAH). You will also continue developing your own research.
About you
You will have completed a PhD in Ancient History, and have teaching experience in an equivalent educational setting. You will have evidence of research productivity in peer-reviewed journals and presentations, a passion for the subject matter and motivated by providing the very best experience for our students.
