The Division of Biomedical Services, University of Leicester is a state-of-the-art small animal facility that support biomedical and translation research in the College of Life Sciences. The Division is seeking an animal caretaker/technician to be involved in caring for the animals and carrying out procedural work. The facility primarily consists of rodents and fish and carries a wide variety of interesting pre-clinical work including breeding of genetically modified animals, testing of new treatments for human diseases, surgical work, gene editing and embryo/sperm cryopreservation.
