About the role
We are seeking a Research Fellow to join our esteemed School of Chemistry. This role involves leading a research project focused on "Magnetic Plate and nanoparticle assay validation." The position requires a high level of autonomy, with a specific focus on delivering key objectives across four work packages within the research programme: MIPs nanoparticle synthesis and testing, protocol testing, assay demonstration, and report writing.
About you
As an experienced research professional, you should be able to demonstrate a track record of publication of high quality journal papers, displaying knowledge and practical experience of molecularly imprinted polymers, general polymerization chemistry, nanotechnology and assays. This should be supported by extensive laboratory experience in wet chemistry and polymerization techniques.
