About the role

We have a new opportunity within the Department of Genetics, Genomics and Cancer Sciences to work with the Chongqing Medical University (CQMU) Joint Educational Programme (JEP) to contribute to both teaching and research as a Lecturer in Cancer Precision Medicine.

The research responsibilities of the post will contribute to our major commitment into cancer research in the LCRC, our NIHR funded Biomedical Research Centre and our Cancer Research UK and NIHR funded Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre. The post holder is expected to deliver high quality translational cancer research, aligning with our overarching cancer research focus on personalizing cancer prevention, detection and therapy and to both interact with and enhance the research strengths of the LCRC and wider Department.
